Reading Group: Applied Toric Geometry
Together with Yue Jiao and Lucy Jiang, we are organizing a reading group about Simon Telen's book-in-progress Applied Toric Varieties.
The reading group is open to all interested students and researchers. The aim is to read Chpaters 1-5 and 7-9, discuss the content and solve exercises.

Schedule
Resuming in March, we will meet on Wednesday at 10:30 AM for a chapter session and on Friday at 10:30 AM for an exercise session. We will meet at lest once a week, on Wednesday at 2PM, for a total of six weeks.
The reading group will be held online, a Zoom link will be communicated via mail.
For each session, one or two session chairs will be assigned. They will make a summary of the assigned chapters and lead the discussion. Each session should last roughly 90 minutes.
