Angelo El Saliby
About Me
I am a PhD student at the Max Plank Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig. My advisors are Dani Kaufmann and Irem Portakal. Before that, I completed my Master’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Trieste, with a thesis on graph rigidity under the supervision of Matteo Gallet. I have a general interest for algebraic geometry and its applications.

- [October, 2025] Started my PhD at MPI MiS with Dani Kaufmann and Irem Portakal.
- [Septembre, 2025] Partecipated in the “IMPRS Combo IV” conference at MPI MiS.
- [July, 2025] Completed my Master’s degree at the University of Trieste with a theis on the rigidity of graphs under the supervision of Matteo Gallet.
- [June, 2025] Partecipated in the “Peer-to-peer science communication” workshop at SISSA, Trieste.
